Toyota Australia Partners with The Wiggles™ for Big Red Ute Stage Car

Toyota Australia has announced a partnership with children’s music group The Wiggles™ and unveiled the Big Red Ute stage car, designed by Toyota’s Product, Planning, and Development team. This collaboration brings together two iconic Australian brands to create a fun and interactive stage vehicle.

Toyota Design Australia’s Senior Designer, Michael Mills, stated that the team worked tirelessly to ensure the vehicle captures the vibrant and playful spirit of The Wiggles™. The Big Red Ute, an addition to the official roadworthy vehicles Buute and Toott, will make its debut at The Wiggles™ Melbourne concert on December 7 before touring across Australia and worldwide.

Inspired by The Wiggles™ song Big Red Ute, the stage car is based on a Toyota FJ Cruiser. It features full driving capabilities, LED screen headlights, and a built-in bubble machine to enhance the group’s performances. Toyota Australia’s Chief Marketing Officer, Vin Naidoo, highlighted the excitement of developing a vehicle tailored for The Wiggles™ and their young audience.

The Blue Wiggle, Anthony Field, expressed his enthusiasm for the car’s debut, describing it as an exciting new addition filled with fun, movable gadgets to delight fans. The unveiling coincides with The Wiggles™ journey to Tamworth for the 2025 Toyota Tamworth Country Music Festival, where they will perform special shows on January 21 at AELEC, a well-known venue for major events.
