Chatswood Toyota invites you to put on your running gear, step up and take 10,000 steps a day, for 28 days in aid of the Cerebral Palsy Alliance!
Steptember charity event, challenges Australians to improve their health and well being, whilst raising vital funds to support people living with cerebral palsy. Every dollar you raise helps people with cerebral palsy—a condition that affects movement.
Steptember can be done in your own time but requires you to take 10,000 steps a day whenever, wherever and however you like. This may harder than it sounds, but the sponsorship of friends, family and colleagues, help you raise funds to help pay for equipment, therapy, and research into groundbreaking treatments for cerebral palsy. Every dollar raised during Steptember allows for much-needed services, support, and care for so many kids and adults living with cerebral palsy and their families.
HOW IT WORKS
- Get a team of 4 together and register online to begin your journey.
- Wait by the mailbox for your pedometer and Steptember kit to arrive.
- Highlight the 4 September - 1 October and start planning how to get the most steps into your day, and make the most of the fundraising tools provided.
Walking isn’t the only way to reach your daily step count. You can run, cycle, swim or even dance. There are over 40 different activities you can convert to steps including activities for people with a disability.
