The final countdown begins for the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, who are warmly welcoming Toyota Australia’s 12th year of exclusive sponsorship!
It’s no secret that Toyota is a respected Partner of the Australian Olympic Team this year, with a long history of involvement with both the Olympics and Paralympics. Toyota has even solidified themselves as the exclusive automotive partner in the Pyeongchang Winter Games in 2018.
The AOC President and IOC Vice President John Coates stated that “Toyota’s support comes at a vital time for our athletes” and “ without the generosity of sponsors like Toyota, the AOC would not be able to provide the funds to send the 2016 Australian Olympic Team to Rio.”
The 10 year contract Toyota Motor Corporation signed in June this year, allows the exclusive sponsoring and provision of vehicles, mobility services such as road safety, transportation services and mobility support products. This is great news not only for Toyota but certainly for our aussie team.
